Legendary Meera Bai needs no introduction to anyIndian. Her songs have fascinated the musicians throughout history. मशहूर प्रेम दीवानी मीरा बाई को हिंदुस्तान में कौन नहीं जानता, इतिहास गवाह है उसके रचे गीतों ने कई संगीतकारों को प्रभावित किया. कुछ एक को छोड़कर, जैसे किशोरी ताई अमोनकर और पंडित हृदयनाथ मंगेशकर बाकियों के भजनों में मीरा बाई रचित कृष्ण के भजनों का प्रभाव रहा है. चंद संगीतकार एवं गायकों के गीतों में कृष्ण भक्ति का समावेश मीरा बाई के भजनों का ही रहा है.
मीरा बाई के पुराने प्रेम भरे गीतों को पुनर्जीवित किया है वंदना विश्वास ने अपने प्रथम एल्बम "मीरा-द-लवर" के द्वारा.
वंदना विश्वास एक इंडो-कैनाडियन आर्किटेक्ट हैं कनाडा में, साथ ही उन्होंने संगीत का गहन अध्यन किया है, वो वोकालिस्ट, कॉम्पोसेर, अर्रेंजर भी हैं. सन २००९ में वंदना की प्रथम एल्बम "मीरा-द-लवर" उत्तर अमेरिका ने जबरदस्त सफलता हासिल की साथ ही कई महत्वपूर्ण अवार्ड भी हासिल किया जैसे की यु एस इन्डीस.
अब वंदना विश्वास की ये संगीतमय और महत्वपूर्ण एल्बम "मीरा-द-लवर" अभी फ़िलहाल भारत में उपलब्ध नहीं है, इसलिए वर्ल्डवाइड रिकार्ड्स इसे जल्द ही प्रदर्शित करने जा रही है.
