After the commercial success of the erotic thriller‘Hate Story’, Vivek Agnihotri is back in action and this time exploring a newgenre of Political & Historic Thriller.
His next film titled ‘Freedom’ hasan ensemble star cast unfolding the events in India spanning from 1970’s-2000.The film will have a realistic & rustic take along with various dramaticelements unlike the usual commercial cinema and will be produced by Vivek’s flagshipbanner ‘Durgamaaya Productions’ with this film. Buzzis that cast of the movie will undergo rigorous training for a month before theshoot begins. “Vivek isplanning to conduct workshops in Delhi where the actors (which are yet to berevealed) will be confined to a room so that they can get into the skin of thecharacter. The political thriller promises to give a blow by blow accountof modern day India during the last three decades, beginning from the timeof emergency declared in 1975 by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi tilldate” quipped a source from the movie.The gripping story of ‘Freedom’ which will go on floors in October2012, has been penned by Agnihotri himself while the screenplay has beenwritten by Vivek and Rohan Malhotra together.
