Bhoomi
Pujan for “O” Mega Dandiya 2012 took place at The Police Football Ground in
Ghatkopar East. This year V-Generation Navratri is themed as “O” Mega Dandiya
2012 with Satellite for the music, Shriram Iyer, Archana Mahajan,
Dileish Doshi & Priya Patidar as the lead singers & Naitik Nagda as the
Rhythmist in Mumbai’s prime suburb Ghatkopar. Mr Parag Amarshi Nishar is the
chief promoter and Deepak Patel & his entire team is the Co-Promoter,
specially guest in the bhoomi Pujan was Actor Vineet Sharma (Police Inspector in
Singham)
Satellite
is a group into music since last 30 years and were one of the first groups to
initiate & start Navratri on big scale. They have done shows across the
globe, they have a huge fan following & created a sensation in Navratris by
introducing fusion of disco beats & traditional desi beats. In Ghatkopar
they have a huge fan following as they were the first music group to start in
Ghatkopar & have played continuously for 16 years in Ghatkopar.
Shriram
Iyer is a multilingual singer who started his journey in 1998 and has given
playback for many movies such as Iqbal, Udaan, No One Killed Jessica etc and has
done more than 2000 shows across the globe.
Archana
Mahajan has performed as a singer all over the world along with Sunidhi Chauhan,
Shaan, Kailash Kher etc and has been the host with Anu Kapoor for NRI Antakshari
held in USA in 2006.
Naitik
Nagda is the winner of MTV Rock On. He specializes in playing Indian Dhol &
different desi instruments; he is the leading rhythmist in the band ‘Kailasa’
which is overall led by Kailash Kher.
