Vh1 India wins ‘Best Media Youth Brand’ at the Pitch Youth Marketing Awards 2012

Vh1 India has added yet another feather to its cap! The English entertainment channel has one more reason to celebrate after being awarded the ‘Best Media Youth Brand’ at the Pitch Youth Marketing Awards 2012!
The awards that were held in New Delhi on October 12, saw some of the most prominent members of the entertainment industry come together. Vh1 India, which had been nominated in the “Best Media Youth Brand” category with over 100+ entries, emerged the winner!
Celebrating the success of this achievement, Ferzad Palia, Sr. Vice President and General Manager – English Entertainment, Viacom18 Pvt. Ltd, said, “While we don’t work for awards, it is truly heartening to be recognised for the effort that the team at Vh1 puts in. We are honoured and elated to win appreciation in the form of this award. A big shout out to everyone for their love and support!”
True to its philosophy, Vh1 has always engaged its audiences not only through their programming content but also through various on-ground activations. Aiming at enhanced audience interactions, Vh1 also continues to associate with hangout spots frequented by the youth. These and many more innovative marketing initiatives have been a big hit with the fans helping the channel to maintain a leadership position in the genre.
The Pitch Youth Marketing Summit & Awards aims to highlight the marketing initiatives around youth that have been an exceptional success. Through this initiative, they showcase brands which have redefined the youth marketing space through their innovative ideas. Unlike other conferences which host panel discussions on broad topics, Pitch Youth Marketing Summit aims to host detailed marketing case-study presentation by leading international and Indian marketers.
