As we know that Social activist Kiran Bedi is against corrupt politicians of the country and strongly oppose them. And her emotions flooded when she watched the special screening of the film “Calapor”, a film based on prisoners and corrupt politicians.
When She was asked by a journalist about corrupt politicians, she said, “We need an another jail in our country, a big one, Only for corrupt politicians because when these politicians would be caught red handed then the need of a separate big prison will be must.”
She Also added, “It takes more than 50 years to make a film like “calapor” after an old black & white classic “do aankhen barah haath”, which depicts the story of people behind the bars, I personally liked the film, only because of the superb story which slowly unfolds many layers of truth but at right time and ends with a social message. The strong point of the film is its Story and the film is directed very nicely.”
Calapor is a 2013 Bollywood thriller film produced by A. Durga Prasad and by directed by Dinesh P. Bhonsle. The film is a taut thriller, set in the backdrop of a jail. It is a modern story of reformation. The film provokes thoughts about the nature of human being while infusing hope that there is good in every human being.The film is slated for August 02, 2013 release.
