MANGALIK definitely means and underlines tones and shades of mystery and Supernatural interference in a human’s life..!!!  The incident happened in a small town called Mahipalpur. Bharti is an upper middle class Brahmin girl who fell in love with Abhishek a brahmin boy who belonged to a very rich and influential family. Abhishek family gives in to his requests. Going by tradition they ask for Bharti’s kundali !!! when her dad hands over her kundali, It is revealed that Bharti is a GHOR MANGALIKK !!! According to beliefs any man who himself is not a manglikk and gets married to her will die!!! The matter needed to be resolved somehow, and then an age old tradition is suggested by someone which is that to evade the ill effects of this MANGALIKK. Before her marriage to Abhishek Bharti should be married to a peepal ka tree!!! Though the suggestion was eerie for everybody, they all still decide to go ahead with it!!! After this suggestion the case is understood as resolved but little did they know that was the very beginning of terror to come into their lives. The wedding takes place and Bharti is married to the Peepal tree on which sat a male Ghost, who according to him believed that he was married to Bharti and she was his wife!!! The happy families did not know that they were taking a Ghost with them back home as their son in law!!! Bharti and Abhishek are all set for their marriage!!! Inexplicable events start to occur. Small but strange hindrances started happening with their preparations. When they receive the wedding invitation card, there was a black spot on Abhishek’s name and couldn’t read his name properly. Then when the wedding ceremony is in full swing, more strange events occur as while performing the ritual “saath pheras”, the ceremonial knot that bonds the marrying couple suddenly caught fire!
