On the occasion Rajinikanth, who was greeted with joyous cheers and whistles,
said, “Though I do not understand much
about technology, I am very happy that Kochadaiiyaan has been completed in two
years and my daughter is introducing a new technology to our
industry.”
Hit director S.S. Rajamouli with a series of blockbuster behind
him like Magadheera, Eega etc lavished praises on Soundarya saying, “Taking up this project is a big challenge in itself, and
completing it is the next. Performance capture is very
difficult… right from the start through to the end product, every step has its
own difficulties.” Rajamouli further added, “What I had done for Eega is hardly
two percent of what she has done for Kochadaiiyaan. The world has never seen a
movie based on photorealistic motion capture finish in two years. She
had to keep in mind every little detail. We should feel proud of Soundarya who
has got this technology to Hyderabad.”
Talking about the ‘Thalaiva’,
veteran actor Mohan Babu said, “What
can I say about my friend? I can write a book on him. We have been friends for
40 years. One of his daughters should have been my daughter-in-law, but that
could never happen.”
