Owner Sujit Narayan sur refuses to sell the quirky blue
scooter despite offers worth Rs 1 crore
On 10th June,
the Power of Three will be unleashed as the formidable trio of exemplary actors
in the shape of Amitabh Bachchan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, with Vidya Balan in a
pivotal guest appearance will be seen together in Ribhu Dasgupta's emotional
thriller TE3N!
People have been taken aback with the unusual images and
visuals of the megastar Amitabh Bachchan zipping away on an antique blue
scooter, but what they don’t know how special it is, not only in the movie but
to the actual owner itself!
The scooters vendor and owner Sujit Narayan Sur who gave
the scooter to the production for the shoot, has been inundated with offers to
sell the scooter ‘driven by Amitabh Bachchan’ but he has refused despite an Rs 1 crore offer! He has modified and
customized it for Mr Bachchan in TE3N.
Sujit also known as Bhaida, said, "This second-hand
scooter is about 20 years
old. I bought it 13 years
back and still use it. The unit came with a sketch of what they needed and my
scooter's colour matched their requirements. I was thrilled. I will not be able
to lend out the scooter ever again. I want to keep it at my Tollygunge home
with a life-size photo of Bachchan. And also, the scooter that he rides is not
less than a crore in worth. So, there's no question of selling it.”
Well, now that is true passion for cinema memorabilia and
for Mr Bachchan!
