Bollywood nowadays have showcased a number of unique crime fighting superheroes on the big screen. With their suave gadgets to cars to even updated special effects, Indian audiences can’t seem to get enough of the superhero genre.

In Hollywood, comic book based heroes have been one of most awaited aspects of every summer with even Star Movies featuring the premiere of Ant-Man on Sunday,11^th September at 1pm and 9pm. The film starring Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas amassed more than 500 million dollars at the box office and the anticipated films will premiere on Indian television for the first time thanks to Star Movies.

As speculations continue if whether an Indian version of Antman could occur, here are a few options of who could play Paul Rudd’s character Scott Lang in Antman

Arjun Rampal is one of Bollywood’s most talented names who will certainly look great as a superhero. The actor has already played roles as a villain in Indian superhero films and its time that he plays the lead protagonist in an Indian remake will suit him perfectly!

Akshay Kumar has played a spectrum of roles throughout his career and hopefully the next step will be to play the ant-sized superhero. The actor’s acting talent and looks make him an obvious choice for the role of Scott Lang.

MILIND SOMAN

The model and actor who became an audience favorite as a nineties live action superhero. Years later, the star has continued to be remembered for his roles and can now join in the comic book squad by playing the witty character of Ant-man.
