SACHIN SINGS HIS WAY TO THE DIGITAL WORLD
Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar today unveiled a unique digital
application“100MB” to mark the beginning of his digital innings at a Strategic
announcement held in Mumbai, yesterday.
Sachin Tendulkar, better
known to cricket fans as the God of cricket, is all set to enter the digital
world. With his new smart phone application for his fans he adds another
feather to his already decorated hat. The name of the application is 100MB
which denotes his 100 centuries in his lifetime as a cricketer and MB stands
for Master Blaster. The app is being launched in a very unique way and
something which is a first for this legend. Sachin will be heard singing
along-with singer Sonu Nigam on music director Shameer Tandon’s tunes. The song
shows a new side of the cricketer and gives a sneak-peak into the
soon-to-launch video game called Sachin Saga as well.
A cricket destination
that caters to tens of millions of fans across the globe, 100MB is a unique
mobile application, just like Sachin himself, dedicated to delivering the best

Vishal Patni enters Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanumaan
Vishal
Patni, who has been part of many films and television shows, will be seen
playing an important character in Sony Entertainment Television’s show
SankatMochanMahabaliHanumaan. Vishal will be seen playing Nikumbh, a Rakshash
who will fight against Hanumaan, in the upcoming episodes.Vishal
has already started shooting for the show and will be seen in interesting fight
sequences. “The entire team of the show is content with the way he is playing
Nikumbh. The fight sequence between him and Hanumaan (played by NirbhayWadhwa)
will be a highlight.”
Confirming
the news, Vishal says, “I take great pride to apprise that I've been offered a
role of "Nikumbh" for "SankatMochanMahabali Hanuman". I
hope I'm able to give justice to this new character and at the same time
showcase my versatility.”

Bank-Chor 1st feature film in the world to release in 16D, VR & AR Formats on 16th June!
Y-Films, the youth wing of Yash Raj Films [YRF], that has been known
for clutter-breaking content & innovations, announced yet another first
with their next feature film, Bank-Chor. They will become the only studio in
the world to release a film theatrically simultaneously in 16D besides Virtual
Reality & Augmented Reality formats, where the viewer will also be a part
of the film, instead of just watching it.
The film Bank-Chor, starring Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Anand Oberoi and
Rhea Chakraborty, is a story of 3 idiots trying to rob a bank... and how they
pick the worst day possible to do it. In the past, YRF has been the first to
release a film in IMAX with ATMOS sound. Bank-Chor has been designed with the
next level of technology and immersive experiences where 16D helps activate all
senses for a viewer in terms of touch, sight, hearing, smell, taste and also
thought, imagination & feeling. In essence, the film will make you a part
of the bank as one of the hostages when the heist is taking place.
All the partner multiplex and exhibition chains are apparently
overhauling their screening systems to accommodate the film accordingly, as the
film is scheduled to change the entire film viewing experience forever. They
are also keeping medical staff on stand-by, as the experience could get too
overwhelming for most audiences, who typically use just five senses. Speaking
on the same, Riteish Deshmukh said, “I’m thrilled to be a part of this first ever
technological innovation in the Indian Film Industry. 3D is so last season,
when you have 16D! I’m certain Bank-Chor will steal a lot of hearts but since
you can’t take chances, I’m also keeping a 16-day fast and chanting Om Y-Films
O Namah 16 times a day… am told it really works!”

time I experienced it, it really rocked my world. The Bank-Chor gang is going

Bank-Chor is a fun comic thriller directed by Bumpy and produced by

Roshin Balu & Shaan], Kailash Kher, Rochak Kohli, Baba Sehgal and Shameer

Parle Agro aims to widen its Fizz portfolio by launching #FrootiGoFizzy campaign for Frooti Fizz
Parle Agro, recently announced the launch of Frooti Fizz an extension of its
flagship brand Frooti. With the objective of widening the already existing Fizz
portfolio, the launch is supported by an integrated communication campaign
#FrootiGoFizzy, exuberating its fun and playful characteristics. Frooti Fizz
with the campaign #FrootiGoFizzy seeks to refresh the category it created, of
fruit plus fizz drinks in 2005 with the launch of Appy Fizz which continues to
dominate in the category.
The product and the
campaign will connect to the young consumers who are looking for alternatives
to synthetic drinks and are gravitating towards healthier options like fruit
based drinks. The #FrootiGoFizzy campaign will move forward the expansion of
Parle Agro’s fizz portfolio by creating an offering to the large set of Mango
drink consumers with Frooti Fizz. While building its fruit juice based fizz
portfolio to Rs. 4,000 crores by 2022, Parle Agro also aims to increase its
market share within the mango flavored beverage space by adding innovation in
the mango category with further solidifying the position of Frooti.
The #FrootiGoFizzy
campaign builds an elevation in the level of fun of one’s’ life with its bubbly
and exciting experience conveying how Frooti Fizz is different, with a unique
combination of mango and fizz together. The 360-degree campaign, conceptualized
by Sameister & Walsh, with a budget of INR 100 crore includes a new TVC for
its mass reach. Along with television, the campaign will include high impact
outdoor, print and strong digital campaigns set in a world of optical illusions,
targeting the brands core target audience. To further fuel the growth for the
brand, Frooti Fizz will also be a part of the largest on-air property, the
Indian Premier League, coming on board as an associate on-air sponsor.
The campaign will also see
focus on radio and cinema along with on-ground activations bringing out the
spirit of the super cool, playful and fresh feel of the brand in all possible
ways. Alia Bhatt’s, recently announced as the brand ambassador, palpable energy
and bubbly persona in the campaign is a perfect representation of the young and

The short film also marks the directorial debut of
Y-Films’ Nikhil Taneja and has been produced by Y-Films for India Today. The
film was launched at the recent India Today Women’s Summit under the #BigShorts

Samantha Ruth Prabhu walked away with the award for Leading Role (Female) for A

Rakshit Shetty won the award for Leading Role
(Male) for his performance in Kirik Party (Kannada) while Parul Yadav walked
away with the award for Leading Role (Female) for Killing Veerappan (Kannada).
Ravi Chandran names opened the evening with a
fantastic routine. Superstar divas Raashi Khanna, Laxmi Raai, Rachita Ram and
Ritika Singh held the audience spell-bound with a stunning performance. Akhil

extravagant sets coupled with lasers, special effects, lighting and acoustics
to create a magnificent audio and visual impact. The ambience and the
excitement through the evening truly took the audience on a fabulous ride, one
that they’d never want to end.
Sonakshi is NOTEworthy, says astrologer
Sonakshi Sinha had
once been told by an astrologer that books are lucky for her. She isn’t much of
a reader or even superstitious but, the statement amused her.
Sonakshi was not sure
if the astrologer meant religious books or was recommending her to buy some
book, so she let it pass without giving it much thought but the statement stuck
with her.
Now, looking back on
what the astrologer said has piqued her curiosity since Lootera and Noor are
both book adaptations.
Her character Pakhi
in Lootera got her a lot of love and appreciation from the audiences. It is a
film that is really close to her heart and Pakhi is a role she is yet fondly
remembered for.
With Noor's trailer
and songs receiving positive reactions, Sonakshi has been really excited for
the film. It baffles Sonakshi that what the Astrologer had said is actually
true or is the thought just playing on her mind. She shares "I don't
believe in these things but, it is a happy coincidence. Noor and Lootera both
are films very close to my heart."

'Haseena’ Shooting Wrapped Up By Shraddha Kapoor And Siddhanth Kapoor
Siblings Shraddha Kapoor and Siddhanth Kapoor
will be seen playing reel siblings Haseena Parkar and Dawood Ibrahim
respectively in Apoorva Lakhia’s upcoming gangland drama ‘Haseena’ and we have
recently learned that the Kapoor siblings have wrapped up the shooting of the
film.Parkar, who had 88 cases registered against
her, but was taken to court only once in her life, was rumoured to have
single-handedly run her brother's Rs.1000-crore underworld empire in the city.
The film, which was completed in 45 days, will see Shraddha portraying
Haseena’s life from being a 17-year-old teenager to being the 43-year-old Queen
of Mumbai. Director Apoorva Lakhia said, “As it was impossible to shoot on real
locations, our job became more difficult as we had to recreate the exact sets
as per the photos we had over 4 decades. Shraddha and Siddhanth were amazing
together and their scenes have turned out to be fantastic. They were both
committed to their roles and never complained even when Shraddha had to sit for
hours in make-up.”
Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film is being
presented by Swiss Entertainment and has been produced by Nahid Khan. Haseena

the official selection of its upcoming Tamil drama Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu at
the prestigious 17th edition of The New York Indian Film Festival that
commences on April 30, 2017. The film will be screened on May 6, 2017 as part

Yesterday on Gudi Padwa a 12 year boy started
his acting journey in Mumbai.The boy, Krish Dewan, is a young actor who
discovered his passion for acting when he was 9-year-old, during his family
annual meditation break.
Krish’s family supported him by allowing him
to pull out of school for one full academic session to pursue his passion for
acting. During the beginning of the past year, Krish acted in few theatre plays
and ad films. Then Krish was blessed to find his Guru & director in Shri
Harbansh Singh (Theatre Director & casting director for Bollywood films),
with whom he worked for over 8 months to prepare for the Mega Monologue
Marathon: Massage.
