The much awaited biopic of Shiv Sena founder
Balasaheb Thackeray played by actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is all set to hit the
theaters. The film will also have the Vivah actress Amrita Rao playing the role
of MeenaTai Thackeray (wife of Balasaheb Thackeray). MeenaTai Thackeray is known to be a strong
pillar for the Thackeray family.
While dubbing for his role, Nawazuddin saw an
emotional scene of Amrita's character MeenaTai who had to read out a letter
written to her by Balasaheb from jail. Nawaz had to give his voice to the
letter and while doing the voice over he was moved by Amrita's performance.
Post dubbing, the actor rushed out and asked the director to speak to call
Amrita. The actor who got emotional, complimented her for her performance.
Thackeray slated to release on 25th
January 2019.
