This year V-Generation Navratri is themed as “O” Mega Dandiya 2012 with Satellite for the music, Shriram Iyer, Archana Mahajan, Dileish Doshi & Priya Patidar as the lead singers & Naitik Nagda as the Rhythmist in Mumbai’s prime suburb Ghatkopar. Archana Mahajan has performed as a singer all over the world along with Sunidhi Chauhan, Shaan, Kailash Kher etc and has been the host with Anu Kapoor for NRI Antakshari held in USA in 2006.

Naitik Nagda is the winner of MTV Rock On. He specializes in playing Indian Dhol & different desi instruments; he is the leading rhythmist in the band ‘Kailasa’ which is overall led by Kailash Kher.

CELEBRATE THE 50^TH ANNIVERSARY OF JAMES BOND

Global James Bond Day

Friday, October 5^th, 2012 will be Global James Bond Day, marking the 50^th anniversary of the James Bond film franchise. It was Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman who adapted Ian Fleming’s books and brought Dr No to the screen in 1962. The 007 franchise today is the longest running in film history with twenty-three films produced. The latest James Bond adventure is entitled SKYFALL™ and will be released in the UK on October 26^th, in India on November 1^st, and in the US on November 9^th. In India, the film will have one of the widest releases ever for a Hollywood film in four languages - English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu - and also in the IMAX format.

In the US, events for Global James Bond Day include a film retrospective at The Museum of Modern Art in New York and a Music of Bond Night hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Los Angeles. In other countries around the world, special events have been planned. In the UK, an auction of James Bond memorabilia is taking place at Christie’s with all proceeds going to UNICEF and a number of charitable causes. In Belgium and South Africa, offices will celebrate with Bond-themed Casual Fridays where people will turn up to work dressed in gowns and tuxedos. In addition, EVERYTHING OR NOTHING: The Untold Story of 007, the feature documentary, will be screened in Australia, Belgium, France, Holland, Japan, Latvia, Mexico, Russia and India (as part of the Mumbai Film Festival).

In addition, pre-sale tickets for Skyfall will be available in select locations starting Friday, October 5^th. Moviegoers may check with their local theatres for details. Pre-booking has also begun on www.bookmyshow.com. Radio stations around the world are planning to play Bond theme songs and news channels are planning half-hour specials. Multiplex chains are planning a series of promotions on the theme of Bond, leading up to the release of Skyfall on November 1^st. Also, a special limited Bond Anniversary edition Bluray box-set containing all 22 films with exclusive bonus features is being launched on October 5^th by Excel Entertainment. Abhishek Bachchan visits with OMEGA at the 2012 Ryder Cup

 
Currently shooting for the Dhoom 3 schedule in Chicago, Bollywood star and OMEGA Ambassador Abhishek Bachchan joined OMEGA at the 2012 Ryder Cup on Friday at the Medinah Country Club in Medinah,just outside of Chicago.
The actor was present for the 2012 Ryder Cup, one of the most anticipated golf events on the calendar, where OMEGA served as Official Timekeeper of the Ryder Cup for the first time this year.
Having represented the brand for 6years ,Abhishek stopped by the PGA Precision Experience,to test his golf skills at the OMEGA Putting Challenge where he also caught up with his fellow OMEGA Ambassadors, Olympic champion Michael Phelps and legendary golf coach Hank Haney, who are also in Medinah to enjoy all the Ryder Cup action.

Sonakshi’s love for Simba!!

Well B-town actress Sonakshi Sinha’s cute and beautiful smile makes most of us go weak in the knees... But what catches this pretty actress’s fancy is not us...but her newly found love for furry friend Simba!!

We hear that while recently shooting in Patiala for her forthcoming Diwali Dhamaka ‘Son of Sardaar’, the actress spent most of her free time playing and taking care of Simba, her new four legged friend who happens to be a Rottweiler puppy!!

“There was a place close to our shooting location where Rottweiler puppies were breaded. Sona is a dog lover; in fact she even had a pug before! When she saw this puppy in Patiala she loved him so much that she immediately developed a special bond with him and she named the puppy Simba. Whenever she got some time off from her shoot she would go and play with Simba,”quipped a source close to the team.

Well working with such amazing co-stars like Superstar Ajay Devgn, Juhi Chawla and Sanjay Dutt & also having Simba around, we are sure that the actress had a great time shooting for‘Son of Sardaar’ in Patiala!!

Comedy Circus Ke Ajoobe

In 7th October episode, Rani Mukherji and Bharti have a clash of sorts during the shoot of Comedy Circus Ke Ajoobe.

Bharti challenges Rani for a Belly dancing competition which she gladly accepts. What followed was an epic battle of belly dancing which would give the professionals a run for their money. Both shaked their belly to the song ‘Aga Bai’ from Rani’s film and it was a sight to behold.
