KIRTI KULHARI

Kirti Kulhari (30^th may 1985) is an Indian actress. She marked her debut in Hindi film industry with 2010 film Khichadi – The Film, which was based on the popular Television show by the same name. In 2011, she appeared in Bejoy Nambiar critically acclaimed and commercially successful film Shaitan. Kulhari will soon be seen in Luke Kenny’s film based on Zombies, The Rise Of The Zombie, a film titled Jal opposite Purab Kohli and Sooper Se Ooper opposite Vir Das.

Early Life

Kulhari was born and brought up in Mumbai, India. She did her Post Graduation in Journalism and Mass Communication from KJ Somaiya College, Mumbai.

Career

Kulhari started her career with theatre and TV commercials. She did one month acting workshop in Hindi theatre group called Yatri. She worked on three plays after that – Chinta Chod Chintamani with Yatri group, Shehenshah Of Azeemo with AK Various productions and a Hindi adaptation of Sakharaam Binder with Yatri group. Kulhari was the face of many TV commercials – Lotus Mutual Funds, Travel Guru, Videocon Air Conditoners, Parachute Georgous Hamesha Campaign, ICICI Bank, Kaya Skin Clinique, Taj Mahal Tea along with Indian actor Said Ali Khan, Everyuth Face Wash, Whirlpool Refrigerators along with Indian actors Ajay Devgn and Kajol, Spice Mobile, Virgin Mobiles along with Indian actor Ranbir Kapoor, Close-up, JK White Cement and Tic Tac mouth freshener.

Kulhari was the face of beauty brand Nivea Visage Sparkling Glow’s face for duration of 2 years. Kulhari was also a part of two music videos – Junoon by singer Abhijit Saawant and Mitran Di Chatri by Babby Mann.

Kulhari began her acting career with Khichdi – The Movie, which released in October 2010. Kulhari got critical acclaim for her second film as an actor – Shaitan, which released in June 2011. The film was directed by Bejoy Nambiar and produced by Anurag Kashyap. Kulhari will soon be seen in four film in 2013 – Jal opposite Indian actor Purab Kohli, Rise Of The Zombies opposite Indian actor/musician Luke Kenny, Single Chal Riyaa Hun and Sooper Se Ooper opposite Indian actor/comedian Vir Das.

उतराखंड महोत्सव कौथिग 2013

रामलीला मैदान , नेरुल नवी मुंबई में 23 जनवरी से 27 जनवरी 2013 तक चलने वाले उतराखंड महोत्सव 'कौथिग' का उदघाटन उत्तराखंड के कैबिनेट मंत्री श्री हरक सिंह रावत और अभिनेता हेमंत पाण्डेय ने किया. इस अवसर पर उतराखंडी साहित्यकार नन्द किशोर नौटियाल और अविरल शंख वादक राम जन्म योगी (जो कि लगातार आधे घंटे तक शंख बजाते है) भी मौजूद थे.

दीप प्रज्वलन के बाद कैबिनेट मंत्री हरक सिंह रावत ने जनता को संबोधित करते हुए कहा की “हम अगले वर्ष तक यहाँ उतराखंड भवन और उतराखंड कमुनिटी सेंटर का निर्माण करेंगे जिसमे उतराखंड के सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमो का आयोजन किया जाएगा.”

5 दिनों तक चलने वाले इस महोत्सव में उतराखंड के विशिष्ठ खान-पान के साथ-साथ वहां का लोक गीत व संगीत तो होगा ही इसके अलावा स्वास्थ्य शिविर, रोजगार पंजीकरण और विवाह योग्य युवक-युवतियों का पंजीकरण भी होगा.

23 जनवरी को उत्तराखंड के सांस्कृतिक लोक संगीत व नृत्य का प्रदर्शन हुआ और 24जनवरी को इस महोत्सव में प्रसिद्ध उत्तराखंडी गायिका कल्पना चौहान ने अपने दल के साथ मनोहारी संगीतमय प्रस्तुति की और फिर इसके बाद विलुप्त होती परम्परा"बादी '' की अनोखी प्रस्तुति भी हुई. जिसे देखकर उपस्थित सभी दर्शक मन्त्र मुग्ध हो गए.

पिछले 5 सालों से सफलता पूर्वक चल रहे इस महोत्सव में उत्तराखण्ड के प्रसिद्ध 100 कलाकारों द्वारा कमलव्यूह, पाण्डव नृत्य, नंदा देवी जैसी नाटिका के साथ-साथ लोक नृत्य व लोकसंगीत का प्रदर्शन भी किया जाएगा. इस उत्सव में 40 से अधिक स्टाल भी लगाये जायेगें.

इस कौथिग महोत्सव का मुख्य उद्देश्य आज की युवा पीढ़ी को अपनी परम्परा व संस्कृति से परिचित कराना और उत्तराखंडी समाज को एकता के सूत्र में बांधना है.

दो दिग्गजों का मिलन

अपनी गायकी के लिए कैलाश खेर पूरी दुनिया में जाने जाते हैं उन्हें जितना लगाव संगीत से है उतना ही क्रिकेट से है भी है. ढाका में इंडिया -- बांगलादेश के बीच हुए क्रिकेट मैच के दौरान अपनी परफोर्मेंस के बाद उन्होंने कहा था कि अपने प्रिय खिलाड़ी सचिन के 100 वां शतक के बाद वो उनके लिए एक गाना गायेगें पिछले दिनों खार जिमखाना में कैलासा बैंड के परफोर्मेंस के अवसर पर कैलाश खेर को मौका मिला सचिन के लिए गाने का. यह वो शानदार अवसर था जब अलग - अलग क्षेत्र के दो दिग्गज आमने सामने थे.

अपने बैंड कैलासा के परफोर्मेंस के दौरान कैलाश खेर ने सचिन का स्टेज पर स्वागत किया. सचिन भी उनसे मिलकर बहुत अभिभूत हुए. भारतीय क्रिकेट के भगवान कहलाने वाले सचिन के साथ मुलाकात से उत्साहित कैलाश खेर ने ट्विट किया कि, "पिछले रात परफोर्मेंस के दौरान सचिन तेंडुलकर मंच पर आये और उन्होंने अपने विचार साझे किये."

Ajay Devgn, Tamannaah and Sajid Khan unveil the trailer of 'Himmatwala' at the iconic Gaiety Galaxy!!

The much talked about Sajid Khan’s “Himmatwala”

unveiled the trailer at the iconic Gaiety Galaxy yesterday in a complete 80’s style.And to add to the retro feel, there was a larger than life cutout of Ajay Devgn from the film outside the theatre and there were colorful pillars, pots and drums, dancers in 80s style dresses!!

The trailer was launched by Superstar Ajay Devgn, Tamannaah and blockbuster director Sajid Khan along with Producers Ronnie Screwvala (Disney UTV), Siddharth Roy Kapoor, Managing Director, Studios, Disney UTV and Vashu Bhagnani(Puja Films).

Ajay Devgn was seen donning a rugged look with a moustache and Tamannaah looked every inch of a diva in her dress while Sajid Khan was at his wittiest best.

Along with the trailer launch Superstar Ajay Devgn also felicitated the ‘Himmatwala’s of the Country ie. people who have done something courageous in their life, a contest which was run in different cities by a local media.
Everyone present there was seen having a great time and loved the trailer as it has all the elements of complete dhamaka and pure entertainment and it promises that the film will make you relive the 80’s classic era!!

With just the trailer so entertaining, well it looks like'Himmatwala' will be one electrifying film to watch out for!!
