SYNOPSIS
‘Life Mein Hungama Hai’ is an odyssey of adventures of two young lads. Based on the story “The Running Away” by Ruskin Bond, it is a fun filled family film and is peppered with unexpected adventures of two runaways, subtly underscoring the balanced view between discipline and freedom.

The film depicts the story of Vishwanath and Sunny, two students of class IX at a boarding school in the foothills of the Himalaya. They are fed up with the routine and restrictions of their regulated life. When Vishy’s sailor uncle sends him an e-mail saying his ship will halt at a port on India’s West Coast nearly a thousand miles away, they decide to run away to sail the world with him. On the way, they experience lot of comical, adventurous and thrilling situations. Do they find, what they set out to seek?

The main role of the two boys has been played by Saksham Kulkarni (he won the Asian best actor award in Singapore in 2006 for Marathi film Pak Pak Pakaak) and Sonu Bakshi (a top child model).

RUSKIN BOND (Writer)

Ruskin Bond, India’s best-known and most loved writer of children’s books was born in 1934 in the Simla hills. Awarded the Rhys Memorial Prize in 1957 for his first novel ‘The Room On The Roof’ written at the age of 17, he received the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1993. His canvas encompasses folktales, short stories, books on nature, poetry, fiction, a historical novel, a biography and autobiography.

इमरान के आस पास है डायनों का डेरा

गहराई का अन्दाज़ा लगाने के लिए गहराई में जाना ही पडता है और ऐसा ही कुछ हुआ इमरान हाशमी के साथ जब उन्होंने पहली बार विशाल भार्द्वाज तथा बालाजी मोशन पिक्चर्स के बैनर तले बन रही फिल्म ‘एक थी डायन’ की स्क्रिप्ट पढी.
खुद को नास्तिक माननेवाले इमरान हाशमी डायन, जादु टोना तथा अलौकिक शक्तियों जैसी किसी भी बातों पर यकीन नहीं करते. हालांकि फिल्म ‘एक थी डायन’ साइन करने से पहले वह इस बात को सिरे से खारिज करते आ रहे थे कि इस तरह की बातें आज के आधुनिक 21वीं सदी में भी पाई जाती है.लेकिन फिल्म के निर्देशक कनन अय्यर ने ना सिर्फ इमरान को इन बातों पर यकीन दिलाया बल्कि उन्होंने इमरान के अपने अपार्टमेंट कॉम्प्लेक्स में ही कुछ ऐसे चिह्न भी दिखाये जो डायनों की परंपरा तथा जादु टोना जैसी बातों की तरफ इशारा करती थी.
निर्देशक कनन अय्यर का कहना है, ‘’आम तौर पर हम ऐसी बहुत सी चीजों को अपने आस पास घटित होते देखते हैं लेकिन जानकारी ना होने से हम उस तरफ कोई ध्यान नहीं देते. दरअसल हमारे देश में कई ऐसे समूह हैं जो इन परंपराओं में यकीन करते हैं और मौका मिलते ही ऐसे चिह्न छोड जाते हैं. इन चिह्नों का ज्ञान अच्छी तरह से सिर्फ इन्हें ही होता है. अपने रिसर्च के दौरान मैं कई ऐसे चिह्नों से गुज़रा हूं. जब मैंने इमरान के ही घर के आस पास इस तरह के चिह्न देखे तो मैंने उन्हें इमरान को दिखाया. हालांकि पहले पहल इमरान सकते में आ गये लेकिन आखिरकार उन्हें विश्वास हो ही गया. दरअसल हम सभी को रहस्य काफी पसन्द है. यही वजह है कि ना चाहते हुए भी काला जादू, डायन तथा भूतों की तरफ हम आकर्षित हो ही जाते हैं.’’
विशाल भार्द्वाज तथा बालाजी मोशन पिक्चर्स द्वारा निर्मित जादु टोनों तथा अलौकिक घटना पर आधारित फिल्म ‘एक थी डायन’ 19 अप्रैल को रिलीज़ हो रही है. इसके मुख्य कलाकार हैं इमरान हाशमी, कोंकणा सेन शर्मा और कल्कि कोचलिन.

SAIF GETS THE RIGHT LOOK FOR GO GOA GONE AFTER MUCH DELIBERATION

Saif Ali Khan’s new look in his upcoming film Go Goa Gone has raised many eyebrows. Saif will be seen playing a Russian mafia lord, Boris the Zombie Hunter in Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK’s next film, Go Goa Gone. As a wise man once said - A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work. That’s what Saif had to do for his upcoming film. The actor, who is known to not experiment with his hairstyle, has an all- blond avatar and an inked bod. Saif Ali Khan’s look for the zombie film was decided after much deliberation.

A source close to producers says, “As Saif is playing a Russian mafia lord in the film, his look was very important. A lot of looks were tried. Different hairstyles with different hair colours were tested before he and directors decided to go for the blonde backcombed mafia look. Apart from beefing up for the role, he was required to learn a new language and get his body tattooed.”

Source further added, “Saif is a thorough professional and he didn’t let his apprehensions come in the way. Off-screen Saif doesn't experiment much with his hair-style. So even for this change he put his apprehensions aside and went ahead with his new look and the director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK's conviction.”

Saif and Dinesh Vijan are producing this film under their banner Illuminati Films along with Sunil Lulla of Eros International. The film also stars Kunal Khemu, Vir Das, Anand Tiwary and Puja Gupta in key roles. The zombie comedy is ready to release on May 10th this year.

बॉलीवुड के ड्रामेबाज़ों को याद करता गीत ‘ड्रामेबाज़’

जैसा कि यह बात सभी जानते हैं ‘नौटंकी साला’ पहले‘ड्रामेबाज़’ था. इसी के मद्देनज़र फिल्म के टाइटल और थीम के साथ गीत ‘ड्रामेबाज़’ रखा गया है. बॉलीवुड के महान नायकों को समर्पित इस गीत ने श्रोताओं के दिलो दिमाग में पहले से ही काफी धूम मचा रखा है लेकिन दर्शक इस गीत को रुपहले पर्दे पर देखने के लिए बेकरार हैं. इसकी एक वजह जहां इसका सुमधुर संगीत और आयुष्मान कुणाल की नायाब जोडी है वहीं दूसरी वजह गीत में दिखाये गये चुनिन्दा बॉलीवुड हस्तियों के सिग्नेचर स्टेप्स हैं. इन मशहूर हस्तियों में गुज़रे ज़माने के शो मैन राज कपूर, धर्मेन्द्र,देव आनन्द, मिठुन चक्रवर्ती, राजेश खन्ना तथा मनोज कुमार के अलावा अमिताभ बच्चन,सलमान खान, शाहरुख खान तथा आमिर खान के भी अन्दाज़ हैं.

बॉलीवुड के महान नायकों या यूं कह लीजिए महान ड्रामेबाज़ों को समर्पिइत इस गीत के बारे में निर्देशक रोहन सिप्पी का कहना है, ‘’ज़िन्दगी के फलसफे को बयां करता यह गीत ड्रामेबाज़ एक मज़ेदार गीत है. इस गीत के ज़रिये हम यह बताना चाहते हैं कि वास्तविकता में हम सब ड्रामेबाज़ हैं. आयुष्मान और कुणाल पर फिल्माये गये इस गीत में हमनें बॉलीवुड के कुछ महान हस्तियों के सिग्नेचर स्टेप्स लिये हैं जो काफी मज़ेदार हैं.’’

इस गीत के सिलसिले में निर्माता भूषण कुमार का कहना है, ‘’हमारी पहचान है बॉलीवुड और बॉलीवुड ने कई लोगों को बतौर नायक, नायिका,निर्देशक, गीतकार, संगीतकार तथा गायक के तौर पर पहचान दी. फिल्म ‘नौटंकी साला’ का गीत ‘ड्रामेबाज़’ हमारे उन्हीं दोस्तों और महान हस्तियों को समर्पित है.’’

रिएलिटी शो ‘एक्स फैक्टर’ के विजेता गीत सागर की आवाज़ में सजे इस गीत को लिखा है गीतकार कौसर मुनीर ने. संगीतकार माइकी मैकक्लेरी के ज़बर्दस्त धुनों में पिरोए इस गीत को अगर आप भी देखना चाहते हैं तो इंतज़ार कीजिए ‘नौटंकी साला’ की रिलीज़ डेट 12 अप्रैल का.

Kavita Krishnamurti Subramaniam is the first Bollywood singer to create her own app, which is now available for freedownload in the Apple App Store and the Google Play store.

Says Kavita Krishnamurti Subramaniam“I thought this would be a great way to stay in touch with my fans andwell-wishers across the world. I cancommunicate directly with them, and they with me. We spend so much time travelling, and oftenour smart phones are out constant companions, so we thought an app would be agreat idea. The initial response towardsthe app has been extremely favourable, and I’m so happy that people like it.”

The app features exclusive contentincluding news, tour dates, music, videos and a fan wall where she communicatesdirectly with her fans.

She is also in the process ofcompletely revamping her website www.kavitaks.comto make it more fan friendly. 

 

Kavita just returned from a tour ofthe US and the middle east which includes special performances at the worldclass Royal Opera House Muscat with Dr. L. Subramaniam, Bindu Subramaniam, AmbiSubramaniam and the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maestro Christian Eggen. She said: “It was agreat experience performing with the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra with Christian Eggen. The orchestra is the first in the region and Maestro Eggen is truly brilliant. The Royal Opera House Muscat is one of thegreatest concert halls in the world in terms of design and acoustics. Performing with my husband L. Subramaniam andmy children Bindu and Ambi is always a truly special experience.”

Asked about her other upcomingprojects, she says: “2013 has so far been a pretty busy year. My husband and I have just completed the SaPa Baby book, which is designed to teach classical music to children in a funway. This book should be out soon.

“Times Music has also just released asong called ‘Yeh Meri Kahaani’ which is sung by my daughter Bindu and myself in Hindi and English. It is dedicated toNirbhaya, and it is a small way in which we can stand up against the terriblethings that have been happening across the country.

 “We are also in the final stages of mixingfor my new album of solos and duets composed by my husband Dr. L. Subramaniamand featuring a number of great artists.”
