STAR will make its debut on TIMES NOW today at  8pm & Sunday 12 noon and the first episode will feature the charismatic Ajay Devgn. 

The show will take you on a candid journey into the life of a Bollywood actor with unrestricted access into the star’s life. Unscripted, unrehearsed and uninhibited content exclusively on TIMES NOW- Always the news. 

One hour of exclusive conversation with your favourite actor, more intimate & beyond the vanilla studio appearance. The show will delve straight into their personal life giving the audience a direct access to never seen before life of your favourite actor. ThisToday’s launch episode showcases an actor who has done it all, from action to comedy to playing the baddie Ajay Devgn. He has given us all some of the most memorable characters of Bollywood. STAR will give the audience a chance to get to know this mysterious superstar who has been known to avoid media.  

Part of the first show with Ajay Devgn has been shot in a chartered flight, where Ajay candidly spoke about his preference on the location of his shoots; he is not a fan of outdoor shoots. Ajay is a family man and always likes to leave the sets by 6pm. Night shoots are an absolute no for him. Known for sporting one of the best male bodies in Bollywood, this can be attributed to Ajay following a strict workout regime but he confesses that he can’t quit smoking & alcohol.

Ajay explosive revelation came when he admitted on the show his intention to walk away from the limelight in five to six years to take a long break and return back as a strong character artist. He wants to go the Robert De Niro way.

हार्ड कौर और राजस्थानी लोक गायिका भंवरी देवी ने कोक स्टूडियो में गाया

महिला रैप गायिका हार्ड कौर के नाम से सभी वाकिफ हैं. रैप गायिकी में उन्होंने अपना एक अलग ही मुकाम बनाया है. अब यही हार्ड कौर राजस्थान  की प्रसिद्ध लोक गायिका के साथ मिल कर कोक स्टूडियो में  परफॉर्म करेगी.  जो की १७ अगस्त, रात ८ बजे से शुरू होने वाला है.  

 हार्ड कौर और भंवरी देवी ने अपने इस गीत को  समाज में संघर्ष कर रही महिलाओं व उनके  सशक्तिकरण को समर्पित किया है. वैसे भी सब जानते हैं कि हार्ड कौर ने रैप गायकी को अपनाया जिसे उनसे पहले सिर्फ पुरुष ही  गाते थे.  

एक ही क्षेत्र की लेकिन अलग अलग गायकी गाने वाली दो महिलाये एक साथ गाती हैं तब कैसा धमाल होता है यह जानने के लिए तो आपको इंतज़ार करना होगा इस कार्यक्रम के प्रसारण का.   

कैलाश खेर की कथा गान प्रतियोगिता

गायक कैलाश खेर को कौन नही जानता, पिछले साल उनकी एलबम "रंगीले"  रिलीज़ हुई थी उनकी ही कंपनी कैलासा रिकार्ड्स से. अमिताभ बच्चन  द्वारा लांच किये गये 'रंगीले' ने आपार सफलता हासिल की. इसी एलबम के गीतों को लेकर सर्वश्रेष्ट विडियो की एक प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन भी किया गया.  इस प्रतियोगिता में यूं तो पूरे देश के अनेकों प्रतियोगियों ने हिस्सा लिया लेकिन जैसा की सभी जानते हैं कि एक ही विजेता होता है ऐसा ही कुछ इसमें भी हुआ.  

१०० के करीब प्रविष्टियों में से विजेता घोषित हुई पुणे की अमृता महादिक. अमृता को लोकप्रिय फिल्म निर्देशक राज कुमार संतोषी ने पुरुस्कार और ५० हज़ार का चेक दिया और उन्होंने अमृता को बधाई दी और बाकी सभी प्रतियोगियों की भी होंसला आफजाई की. अमृता पहली विजेता रही और दूसरे और  तीसरे नंबर पर रहे परीक्षित देशमुख, मेहुल बंसल और संध्या पटेल.   

मुंबई के खालसा कालेज में हुए इस कार्यक्रम में कैलासा बैंड के सदस्य कैलाश खेर, नरेश कामत,  परेश कामत और संकेत भी उपस्थित थे.  इस अवसर इस बैण्ड ने परफॉर्म भी किया और सभी  को मनमुग्ध कर दिया.  इस अवसर पर कई अन्य मेहमान भी उपस्थित थे जिनमें गायिका सोना महापात्रा, हार्ड कौर और अभिनेत्री सोनल सहगल , शीतल खेर और अंकुर तिवारी आदि प्रमुख हैं .

It’s a wrap for Parvarrish

Parvarrish on Sony TV is all set to wrap up on Thursday 14^th August. The actors are busy shooting for the show and it is the last day of shoot today. There are lots of twists and turns happening with the show having a happy ending. The show will have an emotional connect with the audience with Alhulwalia family getting caught in a major financial loss. They lose a big money of Rs 5 crores in the process and need to repay the amount as early as possible. In the need to clear their debts they also would have to sell their house. However, the story will end on a positive note with the entire family standing united even after losing their dream possession.  The cast and crew would end their last shoot by cutting a cake. When contacted, Sparsh told us, “It has been an amazing journey being a part of Parvarrish. I made so many friends with whom I will be in contact even after the show ends. I can’t believe that we have reached the end. I will miss everyone.

Ruslaan’s Eid special for his mommy dearest

Sony Entertainment Television’s most awaited show Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zaara starring Sangeeta Ghosh and Ruslaan Mumtaz has already started created buzz in the industry. And what we hear is that the male lead of the show - Ruslaan Mumtaz is really excited about his small screen debutant and also about working with the popular tele actress Sangeeta Ghosh.

Ruslaan’s is on cloud nine and as a special treat for his mom this  EID  as Ruslaan is going to celebrate it in a unique way by giving his parents the Eidi instead of taking one from them this year! In Muslim culture, an Eidi is a gift given from elders to their children on the day of Eid.

When contacted Ruslan, he told us.” Its EID today and there is incredible happiness in my life. Since childhood it’s always been that my parents used give me the Eidi but this year it’s going to be different. I am planning to gift my parents my first credit card, it would be my Eidi to them. 

We hope that on this EID Ruslan is showered with lot of  success and happiness in his life and wish him all the very best for his upcoming show Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zaara.
