 A deliciously romantic coming together of Gulrez “Gullu” Qadir (Parineeti Chopra) a Hyderabadi shoe-sales girl disillusioned with love because of her encounters with dowry-seeking men; and Tariq “Taru” Haidar (Aditya Roy Kapoor) a Lucknawi cook who can charm anybody with the aroma and flavours of his biryani and kebabs.
In the clash of diametrically opposite but equally spicy cultures of Hyderabad and Lucknow, Gullu and Taru arrive at a “tuning-setting”, rewrite traditional recipes of love, crush old-fashioned world-view and make their own masaledaar albeli rangreli pichchar... Daawat-e-Ishq!
Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film is written and directed by Habib Faisal, music is by Sajid-Wajid and lyrics by Kausar Munir.

IIFA toasts the best of Indian music and fashion at Myntra.com presents IIFA Rocks! Day two continues to bring the Bollywood glitz and glam to Tampa Bay!



 The much awaited 15th IIFA Celebrations have kick started in Tampa Bay, Florida and day 2 of the Videocon DDB IIFA Weekend saw Myntra.com presents IIFA Rocks. Dedicated to the best of fashion and music, the event was held at the Tampa Convention Centre. The evening witnessed leading avant garde fashion extravaganza by leading designers as some of Bollywood’s beauties walked the ramp for them. A host of musicians came together to be part of the gala event. 
Packed to capacity, the stunning Tampa Convention Centre provided an elaborate setting for the evening. Hosted by Gauhar Khan and Vivek Oberoi, the fashion segment opened with a show by Manish Malhotra in association with Mijwan Welfare Trust. Sonakshi Sinha and Anil Kapoor walked the ramp as showstoppers. American Indian designer Amita Bal followed with Miss America 2014 Nina Dalvur as the showstopper. The segment closed with a special IIFA Collection by Vikram Phadnis for Vishal Fashions. Called ‘Nazakat’, the collection was inspired by femininity with Malaika Arora Khan and Yami Gautam as showstoppers. 
Special personalities from Tampa Bay also strut the ramp in gorgeous Indian attire. They included Drs. Kiran & Pallavi Patel; Mr. Santiago Corrada, CEO & President, Visit Tampa Bay;  Donna Lancaster, an advocate for victims of human trafficking; Manish Khardo, a volunteer tutor for junior and high school students; Antonio DeSousa, a hospitality employee at the downtown Hilton; Linda Hess, a community advocate; Jim Morgan, who works with non-profits; Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputy - Steve Donaldson, creator of Officers for the Homeless; Mary Myles, a mental health care advocate; and Naren Rama Krishna, who started a program in India to help girls with their education.
IIFA Rocks also witnessed performances by Monali Thakur, Bhoomi Trivedi & Ankit Tiwari and Ravi Drums. The evening concluded with a soulful performance by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.  
Bollywood stars pulled out all the stops on the carpet, where they were greeted by frenzied fans. The ‘Green Carpet’ at IIFA Rocks! saw stunning beauties – Priyanka Chopra, Bipasha Basu, Sonakshi Sinha, Gauhar Khan, Nirmit Kaur, Aditi Rao Hydari, Govinda, Anil Kapoor, Ritesh Deshmukh, Tushar Kapoor, Aftab Shivdasani and Vivek Oberoi among many others.

South Film Personalities All Praises For ‘Kochadaiiyaan’

The cream of the Hyderabad film fraternity recently attended the showcase of the Telugu version of  Eros International & MediaOne’s Kochadaiiyaan in Hyderabad, in support of Rajinikanth and director Soundarya Rajnikanth Ashwin as she pioneers photo-realistic motion capture technology in the country with the magnum opus.  
The event attended by Telugu film fraternity and stalwarts like Rajamouli, Mohan Babu, T. Subbiramy Reddy etc. saw the unveiling of the 3D trailer of the film along with a 10 minute video offering insights into the making of the film.
On the occasion Rajinikanth, who was greeted with joyous cheers and whistles, said, “Though I do not understand much about technology, I am very happy that Kochadaiiyaan has been completed in two years and my daughter is introducing a new technology to our industry.” 
Hit director S.S. Rajamouli with a series of blockbuster behind him like Magadheera, Eega etc lavished praises on Soundarya saying, “Taking up this project is a big challenge in itself, and completing it is the next. Performance capture is very difficult… right from the start through to the end product, every step has its own difficulties.” Rajamouli further added, “What I had done for Eega is hardly two percent of what she has done for Kochadaiiyaan. The world has never seen a movie based on photorealistic motion capture finish in two years. She had to keep in mind every little detail. We should feel proud of Soundarya who has got this technology to Hyderabad.”
 Talking about the ‘Thalaiva’, veteran actor Mohan Babu said, “What can I say about my friend? I can write a book on him. We have been friends for 40 years. One of his daughters should have been my daughter-in-law, but that could never happen.”


Rajeev Khandelwal promoted his upcoming film “Samrat& co.” in Delhi

In the career of ten years, Rajeev Khandelwal has done some of the much appreciated work on television and in films, He left critics & audience spellbound with his spectacular performance in his debut film “Aamir”. The actor is known for his own genre and different film, this time he chosen to work with Rajshri Productions on their detective thriller film “Samrat &co.” and to promote the film, the actor with his beautiful co actoress Madalsa Sharma, who is debuting with this film, visited Restaurant Pangaea, Hotel Ashok and attended a Press meet.
 Known for experimenting with different kind of script, Rajeev said, “Yes! I take a lot of time to choose a script and I always believed that a good script can make a good film”. He also added, “Samrat & Co. is detective thriller film, where I have played the role of a detective and I know audience will like it”.
Samrat & Co. is a upcoming 2014 Hindi detective thriller film directed by Kaushik Ghatak and produced by Kavita k Barjatya  under the Rajshri Productions banner. It features Rajeev Khandelwal in the title role of Samrat and is set to release on 25th April, 2014
