Shraddha And Siddhanth Kapoor Break Down and Get Emotional on Haseena Sets

We all know that siblings Shraddha and Siddhanth Kapoor are currently shooting for Apoorva Lakhia’s Haseena in which the duo are also playing reel life siblings for the first time on screen.

Recently when the two were shooting for some heavy duty dramatic scenes in the film, we hear that Shraddha and Siddhanth got so immersed and carried away in their respective scenes while performing the scene that they actually broke down in tears, sparking a huge meltdown!

Witnessing their intensity and cathartic display, the crew members also were quite touched by the brother-sister and were unable to carry on with their work...  So much so that, Apoorva had to stop the shoot for an hour so that everyone could compose themselves, post which the shoot resumed.

Looks like Haseena will be one power packed performance oriented film to watch out for in 2017!                               

रियलिटी टीवी पर अपनी पहली मेहमान भूमिका में उतर कर जोनिता गांधी ने बिखेरा जलवा

कनाडा में पली-बढ़ी जोनिता गांधी हमेशा से ही भारतीय गीत-संगीत से जुड़ी रही हैं।उन्होंने अपने पिता द्वारा स्थापित एक स्थानीय भारतीय बैंड के लिए सात साल की उम्र से ही परफॉर्म करना प्रारंभ कर दिया था। यद्यपि उनका मुख्य लक्ष्य स्वास्थ्य विज्ञान और बिजनेस में अपनी डिग्री की पढ़ाई पूरी करने पर केंद्रित था,फिर भी वह अपनी पूरी युवावस्था के दौरान बॉलीवुड की फिल्मों और टीवी कार्यक्रमों की बराबर खोज-ख़बर रखती थीं।आकाश गांधी के साथ मिलकर बनाए गए अपने पहले ही वीडियो से, जो वायरल हो गया था, उनकी यूट्यूब पर उपस्थिति सर्वत्र महसूस की गई।इस वीडियो ने उन्हें यूट्यूब की युवा सनसनी के रूप में ख्याति दिलाई। यूट्यूब पर लाइव प्रोग्रामों से शुरू करके अब उनके बॉलीवुड गीत चार्टबस्टर बन गए हैं। इनमें ‘द ब्रेक अप सॉंग’,‘गिलहरियां’ और ‘सौ तरह के’ जैसे गाने शामिल हैं।  

जोनिता ने नेशनल टीवी पर दिखाए जाने वाले रियलिटी शो ‘द व्वाइस इंडिया’के लिए हाल ही मेंफरफॉर्म किया है। यह पहला मौका होगा जब वह किसी रियलिटी शो का हिस्सा बनेंगी।इस शो के पैनल में कोच सलीम (मर्चेंट), कोच नीति (मोहन), कोच शान और कोच बेनी (दयाल) जैसे दिग्गज शामिल हैं, जिन्होंने जोनिता के प्रदर्शन की तारीफों के पुल बांध दिए। जोनिता ने यह प्रदर्शन टीम सलीम के प्रतिभागी यशोधन के साथ मिलकर प्रस्तुत किया।पैनल के सलीम, बेनी और नीति के साथ तो वह नियमित रूप से काम करती हैं लेकिन आख़िरकार शान से मिलकर उनकी ख़ुशियों का ठिकाना नहीं था। इस शो में जोनिता का गेस्ट एपियरेंस था जिसमेंउन्होंने दंगल फिल्म के अपने गाने ‘गिलहरियां’ का मिश्रण प्रस्तुत किया। इसके अलावा स्टेज पर उन्होंने मधुमती फिल्म के क्लैसिकल गीत ‘दिल तड़प-तड़प के दे रहा है ये सदा’ की प्रस्तुति भी दी। स्लीम की टिप्पणी सुनकर जोनिता का दिल बल्लियों उछलने लगा क्योंकि सलीम का कहना था कि यशोधन के साथ दिया गया उनका परफॉर्मेंस इस सीजन के सबसे रोमांटिक प्रदर्शनों में से एक था! 

यह एपीसोड कई संगीत सितारों से जड़ा हुआ है। इनमें रिचा शर्मा, आदित्य नारायण, दिव्या कुमार और मास्टर सलीम जैसे सूरमा शामिल हैं।जोनिता कहती हैं, “द व्वाइस इंडिया पर परफॉर्म करते हुए मेरा समय कमाल का रहा। अपने शुरुआती दिनों से ही मैं भारतीय रियलिटी टीवी कार्यक्रम बहुत देखा करती थी। आख़िरकार बीते साल कुछ बॉलीवुड हिट्स देने के बाद एक गेस्ट परफॉर्मर के रूप में इसका हिस्सा बनकर वाकई रोमांच का अनुभव हो रहा है।मुझे लगता है कि यशोधन ने, जिनके साथ मुझे पार्टनर बनाया गया था, इस एपीसोड में अपनी बहुआयामी प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन करते हुए शानदार काम किया है। प्रदर्शन के बाद जिस तरह से वह अपने कम्फर्ट ज़ोन से बाहर निकले और सबको अपने रोमांटिक पहलू से परिचित कराया, वह अद्भुत रहा! मैं ज़्यादा खुलासा तो नहीं करना चाहती लेकिनइतना ज़रूर कहूंगी कि इस वीकेंड में जब इस एपीसोड का छोटे परदे पर प्रसारण होगा तो लोगों को यकीनन बहुत मज़ा आएगा।” 

ब्लॉकबस्टर लाइव राउंड नामक यह स्पेशल राउंड इस वीकेंड (4 और 5 फरवरी को) प्रसारित होने जा रहा है, जिसमें आपको कई मंत्रमुग्ध कर देने वाले प्रदर्शन देखने को मिलेंगे और कैमरे के पीछे के कुछ मज़ेदार पलों से भी आपको रूबरू कराया जाएगा!

Kranti and Mandeep Nagi at Lakme Fashion Week

The second day of Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2017 was dedicated to conversations and experiences around sustainable fashion in India.Among these was a show that had sustainable fashion and inclusivity crafted in the story and which had a strong and powerful message. Lakmé Fashion Week collaborated with Kranti – an NGO that empowers girls from Mumbai’s red light areas to be agents of social change (founded by Ms. Robin Chaurasiya, who has worked with US Air Force) and Mandeep Nagi of Shades of India - one of India’s leading textile labels who presented a unique presentation on 2nd February 2017 at LFW.

The vision behind this collaboration was to have inclusivity, diversity, gender equality and our handloom/textiles coming together, to create a powerful narrative.The presentation was at the 6Degrees Studio - a space/hall dedicated to conceptual fashion narratives at LFW. The evening was graced by veteran actor, Shabana Azmi and Ashwini Bhave.The core point of the presentation had the girls from Kranti celebrate who they are, speak from their heart and share their personal stories through an interactive performance with the audience.

One of the key objectives was to create an empowering experience for everybody in the room and challenge perceptions and norms/prejudices on beauty, dignity and gender that continue to plague our society, something that both Mandeep and Robin touch upon quite strongly through their individual efforts.

·         Mandeep Nagi showcased Spring/Summer 2017 collection through the performance by Kranti girls. They told their stories while demonstrating their pride and independence in the clothes from Mandeep’s ‘Bagh Collection’. The colours evoke the warmth of spring, of early flowers in blossom. White, orchid tint, haze, almond, rose pink, are used with soft gold and silver metallic. Silhouettes are inspired by traditional kurtas and pajamas and by re-interpreting saris with a bohemian look.

·         Mandeep Nagi, Design Director of Shades of India commented, "I won't call myself a fashion designer, my passion for textiles brings forth the style and confidence I wish to share and see in every woman. Therefore have always photographed them on women who may seem ordinary but are absolutely not. Association with Kranti at the most prestigious Lakme Fashion week has been the most enriching experience. I feel honoured to be a part of this. The joy and energy of these girls is infectious."
