Donal Bisht Wears Her Mother’s ‘Kangan’ for the Wedding

Sony Entertainment Television’s show Ek Deewaana Tha has kept viewers glued to the screens with shocking twists and turns. But, in the ongoing track, audiences will get to witness a wedding atmosphere where Sharanya (Donal Bisht) is excited to may her love Vyom (Vikram Singh Chauhan). Not many know that Donal who will stun her fans with her bridal look had someone very close to her help her to get the attire in place.Every bride looks beautiful in a traditional outfit and the right jewelry just places itself on an outfit making it look mesmerizing. To finish her look, Donal’s mother gave her a ‘Kangan’ to which she wore during her wedding.

When asked Donal Bisht to let out her feelings, she said, “When I heard the wedding sequence was being shot, the first thing that came to my mind was the kind of jewelry I would like to wear to make my character stand out as a bride. I went to my mother for a solution as I remember my Mother showing me one of her Gold Kangan that she wore during her wedding. The Kangan looks so elegant. I am glad my mother helped me out. My co-actors and everyone on set, loved the kangan and I now feel it’s more like a blessing Mother’s are truly out best friends and always help out under any circumstance.”

Vikram Bhatt's production house all set to launch its OTT platform.

Following the success of OTT market in India ace filmmaker Vikram Bhatt to launch his own app. 

Ace Director and Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt who is known for his work in films, television and the digital space, will soon be adding another feather to his hat. Vikram Bhatt is all set to launch his own video on demand app and his production house 'Loneranger' will produce content for this mobile platform. 

LONERANGER Productions Pvt. Ltd was established in 2016 to venture into the digital space and instantly gained success because of the popular series produced under the banner such as Gehraiyaan, Maya, Twisted. The production house since its establishment has produced web content and films for digital space, via YouTube and also outsourced content for the Viu application.  

In January 2017, VB on the Web, a YouTube platform to showcase the content was commenced and found instant success amongst the audiences with the shows, which were released on the platform. Now taking their digital endeavors further Vikram Bhatt is all set to launch his own ‘VB-Theatre on the web’ app on 27th January 2018 that also marks his birthday. With this development, the production arm is now geared up to further their imprints in the digital world with the launch of an OTT platform. The app will witness the launch with an original series ‘Untouchables’, which is already in production. This show 'Untouchables', directed by Krishna Bhatt and starring Vikram Bhatt himself, will premiere on the OTT platform and shall be followed by 'Twisted 2' directed by Anupam Saroj Santosh, stars Nia Sharma in this sequel too. ‘Twisted’ that was put together by the same team, was a great hit in the web world. 

What makes this app unique in the market currently is their subscription module. In this app one can subscribe to the entire app or would have to pay for the shows they would want to watch. This is the first time in India that the viewers would get to pay for particular shows only which they desire to watch and not the entire application. With this, Vikram Bhatt wishes to bring about this change in the digital space and give choice to the viewers.

This platform will be commercially launched on the 27th of January,2018

Speaking about this Director, producer, and scriptwriter Vikram Bhatt said, ''The move to digital space happened when I realised that everything was moving onto digital. Music was the first thing to move online, then came books and we've seen big chain of book shops being wiped out and then even retail went online in a major way. So it was only a matter of time before Cinemas went online. Now when Cinema and entertainment has gone online, one has started seeing apps which are subscription based apps where you subscribe monthly and you get your dose of shows. However the app we are launching is a very different concept. Its actually a multiplex on your phone. So when you download the app, you don't have to subscribe, you get various shows and each and every show has a ticket price of its own, very much like a multiplex theatre. So you the watch the show that you want and and only pay for that show making it more accessible.”

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif graced the set of Super Dancer Chapter 2

A hilarious and a fun episode with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif who graced the set of Sony Entertainment Television’s biggest kids reality dance show Super Dancer Chapter 2 to promote their upcoming film Tiger Zinda Hai where the guests were seen with their fun energy making people laugh and also getting entertained by the contestants. Shilpa Shetty Kundra who looked stunning shook a leg with the cute little star Vaishnavi Prajapati whereas Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif made a grand entry to shoot a Christmas Special episode. Excitement and fun were at it’s peak where it was a nostalgic moment having the guests on the show.

Kalpesh Chauhan and Mrunal Jain bond

Actor Kalpesh Chauhan and Mrunal Jain have been friends for a while now. While it is rare to see such a strong bond between industry colleagues, the two have never let anything come between them. Talking about their relationship, Kalpesh says, “The best thing about Mrunal is that  he is a silent friend, who stands by you whenever you want, without even knowing you, He never shows off what ever he does for others. He is so down to earth. Mrunal is my mentor, he is guiding me to get better work. I am lucky to have a friend like him.”

In fact, Kalpesh also got clicked by a photographer recommended by Mrunal recently. “Well, as an actor, I’ll  be never satisfied with my work. I think, I need to work more on me to be the best ,but yes people loved my latest pictures. The photographer was recommended by Mrunal,” he says.

Kalpesh, who was last seen in the show Crime Patrol, has done shows like  Savdhaan india, Humari devrani, Suri on colours gujrati, Chutta chedda on colours gujrati, Tamas, a Gujarati play, Ballard estate, a Gujarati play and Gujarati movies like Motabha and Janmdata.

Ask him what kind of work is he looking forward to doing, and he says, “I am looking forward to getting some good challenging roles in daily soaps and movies.”
