South actor Kabir Duhan Singh gets engaged to singer Dolly Sidhu



Jil and Vedalam fame Kabir Duhan Singh, who is known for playing negative roles in the South, has got engaged to  singer Dolly Sidhu. The couple, who know each other for five years, exchanged the rings during the weekend in Mumbai.

The engagement happened in an intimate ceremony, with family and close friends in attendance. Kabir’s social media was flooded with congratulatory messages as soon as pictures from the ceremony were posted by the actor. Kiccha Sudeep was among the first ones to have wished the star.

The actor said that they were contemplating to put a ring and formalise the relationship for a while, and they are glad that things finally fell in place. He added that it was a quiet Roka ceremony.

A source says, “Kabir and Dolly met through common family friends and then started talking. They were not only romantic partners, but also gym mates.”

‘Tera Khayal’ by Kaushiki and Deepak Pandit Is A New Age Ghazal That’ll Warm Your Heart

Deepak Pandit is an ace violinist and a composer of class. After Times Music’s Humnasheen composed by Deepak and sung by Shreya Ghoshal, this is another gem from Deepak’s magical box.

ManojMuntashir is a man of many words. ‘Teri Galliyan’, ‘PhirBhiTumkoChaahunga’, ‘KaunTujhe’ are a few of the many songs he has penned for major Bollywood films.

“Ghazals are such a beautiful part of my life and ‘Tera Khayal’ is so well written. It was an amazing experience to sing and shoot for this track,” said Kaushiki Chakraborty.

The lyrics of ‘Tera Khayal’ are so beautiful and Kaushiki has sung the composition very beautifully. I wanted to make sure we do justice with the music and I am very happy with how everything has turned out. Thanks to our trio,”said Deepak Pandit.

“This song is very close to my heart and I am very glad that Kaushiki and Deepak got together to create such a beautiful melody,” said ManojMuntashir.

An emotional goodbye from Tinaa to Aashka on &TV’s Daayan



Actress Aashka Goradia who entered &TV’s Daayan as the powerful and vibrant Satrupa, recently bid an overwhelming adieu to the entire cast and crew of the show. While the actress has been shooting with the entire team for only 3 months, she has built some strong bonds with the cast and crew members who bid her a teary-eyed farewell.

Making this moment nothing short of a pleasant surprise was none other than actress Tinaa Datta who in a very short time managed to develop a close bond with the actress. Not only did she arrange for a cake cutting in her green room, but also invited Aashka’s husband, Brent Goble to be a part of this emotional moment. 

Overwhelmed with all the pleasant memories created on the sets of Daayan, Aashka said, “Supernatural has always been one of my favourite genres, and &TV’s Daayan definitely added to the thrill of working in this space. As much as I enjoyed essaying Satrupa, I loved creating her and designing her looks. It was definitely was one of the most interesting and fun highlights of my character. I am thankful to the writers and the creative team for giving me the liberty to play my character on my own free will. A big shout out to the entire unit who was been so supportive and a great team to work with. I am going to dearly miss working with the entire cast, especially Tinaa who has become a really close friend. A special thanks to her for making my farewell such a cherishing memory.”

Sharing some of her memories with her dearest co-star, Tinaa said, “Aashka is a dear friend and while we have known each other from before, we connected deeply while shooting on the sets of &TV’s Daayan. From discussing our scenes and characters to sharing our healthy food dabbas, our journey as co-actors has been truly splendid, and I am really going to miss her presence on set. She was not just a friend who would help me discover my character in the best way, but also a confidante who I could share my secrets with. I hope to work with her again sometime soon.”

Cosmos-Maya’s Yoga ambitions given a boost by PM Narendra Modi who performs Asanas with Motu Patlu, the eponymous leads of the iconic show that airs on Nickelodeon



The animation major’s plans of producing entertaining, child friendly Yoga videos for young viewers given a fillip by the Prime Minister.

Cosmos-Maya’s iconic characters Motu and Patlu performed yoga along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the fifth edition of International Day of Yoga at Ranchi. The characters were present at the event to motivate children towards yoga. This development is in line with Cosmos-Maya’s efforts to inculcate in the lives of its young viewers the goodness of Yoga. The studio is in the process of producing Yoga videos to air on WowKidz, it’s YouTube platform with 23 million subscribers.

These Yoga videos will have ViR and Imli, characters from the company’s hit series ‘ViR: The Robot Boy’, teaching kids Asanas which will be child friendly and easy to do, and in an entertaining format. These will be available to viewers in 12 major Indian languages on WowKidz.

A crowd of 40,000 people that gathered at the ground to participate in the massive yoga event which went on for 45 mins. Nickelodeon had included Motu Patlu as part of the proceedings. The iconic animated characters were spotted in the middle of the ground. Addressing the mega celebration of Yoga Day, PM Modi thanked everyone for participating in the event and urged them to make yoga an integral part of their lives. Modi was accompanied by several ministers and senior government officials including Jharkhand Governor Draupdi Murmu, Chief Minister Raghubar Das, Ayush Minister Sripad Naik, state Health Minister Ramchandra Kesari.

The Jharkhand government, in a statement, said, "The Motu and Patlu characters were present on the ground to attract children towards yoga."
