Aashiqui 2 to retain the 1990 hit “Sason Ki Zaroorat”

Bringing back romantic melodies in a huge way ,T-Series & Vishesh Films with their next venture, the sequel to the 1990 ‘ hit Aashiqui ,promise to not disappoint audiences with the music of the film, that will be reminiscent of the blockbuster album.

In fact the makers have also decided to retain the title song “Sason Ki Zaroorat” from the original album, paying tribute to the film –

Confirms producer Mahesh Bhatt “Nostalgia is a deadly 'drug'. And when a super hit song like this is used to evoke nostalgia it can set the box office ablaze. Our single objective of Aashiqui 2 is make sure that the musical score of this film beats the record created by Aashiqui. I am certain using this track will do that trick.”

Says producer Bhushan Kumar,T-Series “We’ve already recorded many songs for Aashiqui 2 and we’re confident that the audience will enjoy them. But people insisted we bring back at least one song from the original. Using older tracks in films has anyway become a trend.”

In the day and age of remixes, ask the music-honcho if they plan on going the same route with the song and he is quick to reply “‘Sason ki zaroorat’ is a beautiful track. You can’t remix it. But we will recreate it, keeping the lyrics and the basic tune intact. We will rearrange the rhythm and make it more electronic to make it appealing for today’s generation.” adds Kumar.

Directed by Mohit Suri,starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor ,T-Series & Vishesh Films musical drama Aashiqui 2 is currently being shot in South Africa.

इमरान का परिपक्व कदम

इमरान खान अपने अभी तक के करियर में पहली बार अपनी मूंछे बढाने वाले हैं और वो भी इसलिए ताकि वो अपने किरदार को एक वास्तविक रूप दे सकें. इमरान खान, मिलन लुथारिया की फ़िल्म वंस अपॉन अ टाईम इन मुम्बई में काम करने वाले हैं जिसमें उनके किरदार की मूंछे हैं और इसी के लिए इमरान ने तय किया कि वो किसी आर्टीफीशियल मूंछों को लगाने के बजाये अपनी ही मूंछे उगायेंगे.

इमरान अभी तक लगभग सभी फिल्मों में एक युवा का ही किरदार निभाते आये हैं और किसी में भी उनकी मूंछें नहीं दिखाई गयी हैं. ये फ़िल्म देखा जाये तो उनके एक युवा से पुरुष बनने की ओर एक कदम है. ये बदलाव सिर्फ उनके फिल्मों में ही नहीं बल्कि निजी ज़िन्दगी में भी आया है. इमरान एक अभिनेता हैं, जब एक अभिनेता के पास विकल्प रहता है किसी चीज़ के चुनाव का और उसमें से वो रियल चीज़ को चुनते हैं तब जा कर वो सही मायने में कलाकार कहलाते हैं. यही चीज़ इमरान ने भी कर दिखाया है. 

इस साल इमरान देसी किरदार निभाते हुए नज़र आयेंगे अपनी आने वाली फ़िल्म मटरू की बिजली का मंदोला और वंस अपॉन अ टाईम इन मुंबई में. पहले उन्होंने कई रोमैंटिक फिल्में की है लेकिन अब वो एकदम देसी अवतार में दिखेंगे. इमरान इस किरदार के लिए पूरी तरह से खुद को तैयार कर रहे हैं. मूंछे भले ही बहुत छोटी सी बात है लेकिन फिर भी इमरान ने इस बात पर जोर डाला कि वो असल में मूंछ रखेंगे. वो अपने किरदार के लिए मोटी मूंछ बढ़ा रहे हैं जो कि आसन काम नहीं है. हालाकि इमरान को इस लुक में देखने के लिए उनके प्रशंसक बेहद उत्सुक होएंगे.

“I AM SHE, Miss Universe India” was the turning point in my life-Sheena Chohan

Actress and Model Sheena Chohan recently hosted the finale of “I am She, Miss Universe India-2012” held in Hyderabad. Sheena had a wonderful experience hosting the grand event alongside Samir Kochhar. I AM SHE has a very special place in Sheena’s life. It has been an enriching experience for Sheena ever since she had participated in the pageant and won “I AM Voice”in 2010. Sheena attributes her achievements to her mentor Sushmita Sen and the platform that she got through I AM SHE. Hence, it has been a very nostalgic journey and Sheena has always made consistent effort to contribute to the pageant in one way or the other.

Overwhelmed by the overall experience Sheena said, “IAM SHE is family to me! While hosting, interacting and presenting the series of events, I recalled all the beautiful moments when I contested for“IAM SHE, Miss Universe India-2010”. In the journey of life there are moments that are instrumental in changing the course of living and IAM SHE is one of them. This platform has given me the opportunity and occasion to connect with people from all walks of life and interacting with them has been very insightful. This would not have been possible without Sushmita Senwho has been my mentor and has instilled confidence and ‘never give up’ attitude in me. This year hosting the event was one of the memorable experiences for me. Bonding with the beautiful, intelligent and compassionate contestants and treasure of fond memories with Arjun Rampal, Harman Baweja,Sushmita Sen, Mugdha Godse, Neeta Lulla, Mary Kom has been exhilarating.

Sheena Chohan was the title winner of Miss Universe India “I am voice” at I AM SHE-2010 beauty pageant. The eloquent and gracious beauty was the face and host of the Bangladesh Premiere League recently and is also the ambassador of Youth for Human Rights India-International.

यश चोपड़ा की "जब तक है जान" का पहला गाना पंजाबी में

यश चोपड़ा की लास्ट निर्देशित फिल्म " जब तक है जान " के पहले प्रोमो ने लोगों में जहाँ नयी उत्सुकता जगा दी है वहीँ कई खबर है फिल्म के बारे में जो लोगो में उमंग जगा रही है.
ऐसा पहली बार हुआ है हिंदी फिल्म में जहाँ एक पूरा गाना पंजाबी में गाया गया है और यही नहीं यहाँ तक की शाहरुख़ खान भी पहली बार एक पंजाबी गाने पर नाचते और गाते नज़र आयेंगे. इस गाने को रब्बी शेरगिल ने सूफियाना और कविता के अंदाज़ में गाया है ।
As Yash Chopra, on the occasion of his 80th birthday, told Shahrukh Khan while in conversation with him, “Challa is my favourite song and it is your song in the film. It is the soul of the film – you belong to everybody but nobody is yours."।
जहाँ इस गाने को इतनी खूसूरती से रब्बी शेरगिल ने गाया है वहीँ गुलज़ार साहब ने इस गाने को सुन्दर बोल दिए हैं और ए आर रहमान ने संगीत दिया है.
यश जी ने कहा "This song is in Punjabi language and it has been sung beautifully by Rabbi Shergill. Gulzar Saheb has written the lovely lyrics. He has given words to my vision. Working with AR Rahman and Gulzar, is like working with magicians.”
जब तक है जान में शाहरुख़ खान, कटरीना कैफ और अनुष्का शर्मा मुख्य भूमिका में नज़र आयेंगे जो कि १३ नवम्बर २०१२ को रिलीज़ होगी.

सोनम को भाया बनारसी पान

सोनम कपूर आजकल अपनी आने वाली फ़िल्म राँझना की शूटिंग में व्यस्त हैं. और वो फ़िल्म की शूटिंग के लिए फिलहाल वाराणसी पहुंची हुई हैं. ये पहली बार है कि सोनम वाराणसी गयी हैं. उन्होनें अकसर वाराणसी के गंगा घाट, वहां के सूर्योदय और वहाँ की आरती के बारे में सुना था लेकिन इस बार उन्हें मौका भी मिल गया वहां जा कर इन सबको सामने से देख सकें.

सोनम पूरी तरह से वहां के माहौल में घुल चुकी हैं. सुबह सुबह वो उठ कर घाट पर जाती हैं और वहां की आरती भी देखती हैं. वहां का नज़ारा बेहद खूबसूरत होता है और उस नज़ारे को देखने का मौका सोनम खोना नहीं चाहती हैं. बनारस का खाना और वहां का पान बहुत प्रसिद्द है. बनारस जा कर सोनम पान न खाती ये कैसे मुमकिन था. और जैसे ही उन्होंने वहां का पान खाया फिर क्या था, तब से सोनम पान की शौक़ीन हो गयी हैं. वहां के अलग अलग व्यंजन भी उन्होंने चखा.

वाराणसी के लोकल जगहों में, गलियों और रास्तों में सोनम को शूट करना पड़ रहा है जिसकी वजह से उन्हें वहां के लोगों से बातचीत करने का मौका मिल रहा है. वहां शूटिंग करने से उन्हें वहां के रीति-रिवाज़ और संस्कृति के बारे में भी बहुत कुछ सीखने के लिए मिला. वाराणसी इश्वर का स्थान है और बहुत पवित्र जगह है. वहां जा कर सोनम ने बहुत सुकून महसूस किया.
